Truck 533 (A Platoon) Runs House Fire In Stafford County
Sun. Nov 1st 2009

At 04:30 hours Truck 533 (Sgt. Richardson) was dispatched for a residential structure fire on Titanic Drive in the Aquia Harbour Subdivision located in North Stafford. Stafford E.C.C. advised that there were multiple reports of a fully involved house at the dispatched location. Engine 9 was first to arrive and found a two story single family with fire showing from all sides and began protecting exposures. Chief 2 arrived next, established command and advised crews that it was going to be a exterior operation due to the large volume of fire upon arrival. Engine 2 picked up Engine 9's water and advanced a second handline. Truck 533 arrived shortly after and was given the assignment to set up for ladder pipe operations. After the fire was knocked down Rescue 1 arrived and was assigned to gain access into the two garage doors. Once the fire was extinguished all units began the overhaul operations.    While all units were operating on scene, Engine 533 filled in at Station 9 (Aquia Harbour) and Engine 532 filled Station 33. Truck 533's crew operated for almost 3 hours.
