From July 27th thru July 30th department personnel from both shifts traveled over 50 miles for the opportunity to conduct live fire training exercises utilizing Loudoun County Fire and Rescue's new burn building, located in Leesburg, Va. For the four days, personnel of both shifts were rotated on a schedule to go to the burn building. Crews conducted several different scenarios and rotated into different operational positions on the fireground. This was a great training opportunity for everyone while wait for the construction to start and be completed on our new burn building.
Special Thanks to Loudoun County Fire and Rescue
